A Viewer walks into a bar ... There you’ll see a lively array of characters hanging out at The Lounge, a funky, way-off-the-Strip Vegas style nightclub. It’s the kind of place where either up-and-comers start their careers or has-beens are found trying to reinvent themselves. Stand-up comedian Danny Ganzano has hit rock bottom, landing at The Lounge. Barb Schlotzky, the owner has hired him to help rebuild the place by bringing in new blood. With the help of talent agent Bootzilla and a host of strange, weird and downright crazy other characters; odd and outlandish is taken for granted here in this off-beat little show bar. From a wannabe mobster, an aspiring broadway singer, a real killer chef and a four-armed bartender, The Lounge characters have discovered the recipe for out of the ordinary. The style of The Lounge is one of a hip, retro 50’s look and feel reminiscent of that cool Rat Pack vibe. You almost feel like Frank, Dean and Sammy might show up at any minute, grab a martini and belt out a number or two. The scenes are created in a 3D environment, with the characters drawn in a 2D “cutout” sort of fashion that gives it a unique style all its own. With the success of shows such as The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy, The Lounge keeps up the tradition of these highly stylistic, clever and hilarious cartoons that will keep the audience laughing from start to finish. As other adult-oriented animation programs such as Adult Swim are leading the way with young men aged 18-34, The Lounge is geared to sweep up that audience as well as other important demographics. | ![]() |
